Housed in a former shipping container in the Gulch neighborhood of Nashville, The 404 Kitchen offers a modern take on classic European cuisine, with an emphasis on local, seasonal fare. The kitchen team is led by chef Matt Bolus, an alum of acclaimed restaurants Flyte and Watermark in Nashville and FIG in Charleston, with the assistance of sous chef Luke Williams. Travis Brazil serves as general manager and sommelier, curating the restaurant's bar program, which offers unique cocktails, rare and unusual wines, and an impressive whiskey selection that earned The 404 Kitchen a spot on Travel + Leisure's list of the best whiskey bars in America. A semi-finalist in the Best New Restaurant category of the 2014 James Beard Awards and one of the Best New Restaurants in the South in Southern Living, The 404 Kitchen features indoor seating as well as seating on the glass-enclosed patio to accommodate 56 guests for dinner, Tuesday through Saturday.
