Housed in a former shipping container in the Gulch neighborhood of Nashville,
The 404 Kitchen offers a modern take on classic European cuisine, with an emphasis on local, seasonal fare.

The kitchen team is led by chef Matt Bolus and sous chef Luke Williams.
The restaurant’s bar program, which offers unique cocktails, rare and unusual wines,
and one of the largest whiskey selections in Nashville,
earned The 404 Kitchen a spot on Travel + Leisure‘s list of the best whiskey bars in America.

A semi-finalist in the Best New Restaurant category of the 2014 James Beard Awards,
one of the Best New Restaurants in the South in Southern Living,
and the Nashville Scene Writer’s Choice for Best Restaurant,
The 404 Kitchen intimately accommodates 56 guests for dinner, seven days a week.

“This tiny restaurant updates Southern dishes with Italian flavors. Chef Matt Bolus’s buttermilk burrata was a perfect nod
to a trendy ingredient and ideal with anasazi beans,
brussels sprout slaw and cornpone.”

“…a stay at the 404 means one doesn’t have to go far to enjoy a spectacular meal and excellent libations.
Simply visit the 404 Kitchen in the front of the hotel,
a true marvel of elevated Southern and European cooking.”

“The 404 Kitchen is the best thing to come to the Gulch in a shipping container since the Station Inn next door took what we assume must have been a huge delivery of banjos.”
