Located in the heart of the Gulch neighborhood of Nashville, The 404 Kitchen offers a modern take on classic European cuisine, with an emphasis on local, seasonal fare. Our menus by celebrated chef Matt Bolus feature the freshest, responsibly-sourced ingredients prepared using both classic and innovative techniques. Guests can begin their meal with one of our delicious starters, including the housemade burrata or the scallop toast, both nationally recognized. From there, our pasta program features fresh, housemade pasta selections prepared with innovative flavor profiles that will leave you craving more. For the main course, chef Bolus features perfectly-prepared meat and fish selections that showcase the area’s best ingredients served with European-inspired flavor profiles. The beverage program offers both classic cocktail preparations and original craft cocktails, a curated selection of wines offered by the glass and the bottle, and one of Nashville’s most extensive whiskey collections, many hand selected by chef Bolus. The 404 Whiskey Society was launched in 2018 to bring local whiskey lovers together to celebrate and explore everything whiskey-related.

The 404 Kitchen accommodates guests nightly for dinner. The restaurant features multiple dining spaces, outdoor patios, as well as, various private dining options.  Gertie’s Bar, located on the first floor of the restaurant and hosts happy hour Monday – Thursday, offers unique cocktails, rare and unusual wines, and one of the largest whiskey selections in the south, earned The 404 Kitchen a spot on Travel + Leisure‘s list of the best whiskey bars in America and a nod at the best whiskey bar in Tennessee from Thrillist.
